Available frequencies depend on your plan. Pages set to Use site settings follow the site's frequency. A page can instead choose its own supported frequency and schedule preferences. Options that your current plan does not include are disabled in the settings menu.

Set your preferred timezone in System Settings. Scheduled sites and pages can then use a preferred local hour, weekday, or day of month. Scout assigns a stable minute within the selected hour to distribute work, so the displayed Next scheduled run target is the best place to confirm the expected time.

When you enable or change a schedule, Scout calculates the next eligible slot from the saved schedule, previous scheduled slot, and latest completed run. Changing a preference does not create an extra catch-up run.

Choose the viewport where the page matters. Desktop uses a 1920 × 1080 browser view. Mobile uses a 390 × 844 touch viewport. Both runs the page once in each view so device-specific findings and screenshots can be reported separately.

A page scan uses one credit for Desktop or Mobile and two credits for Both. Scanning every page in a site multiplies that device cost by the number of active pages included.

• One active page on Desktop: one credit per run.
• One active page on Both: two credits per run.
• Five active pages on Both: ten credits for a full scheduled or manual site run.

Scout reserves those credits before a manual or scheduled job enters the queue. The reserved units still count when an attempted scan later finishes partially or fails. Starting a duplicate manual scan while the same page already has an active manual job reuses that job instead of starting a second one.

Free trial

Includes 10 total scan units during the first 30 days after the Scout profile is created. This trial bucket does not renew.

Included scan units reset with the subscription billing period shown in System Settings.

Site settings preview how many scheduled credits the current combination of active pages, frequency, and devices is expected to use. Review that forecast before increasing cadence or switching to Both.
